Natni’s Pillar in Hindaun

The Timangarh Fort is said to bear the curse of Natni, as Natni was once victimized of a false promise and treachery of the queen. While walking on a rope he knocked over a place and died. A pillar was built on that spot to mark the incident and was named as Natni ka Khamba. It appears to be made with red stones and bricks. It is erected straight on the ground. Some of the parts are cracked due to natural calamities by ages.

Hiranyakashyap ka Kua in Hindaun

The city itself got its name from Hiranyakashyap. He was said to be the king. God Visnu had killed Hiryanyakashyap. This story is related with the place of Hiryanyakashyap ka kua. This memorial is located at the centre of the city Hindaun. A thick grass has paved its way encircling this place. This memorial is almost in ruins nowadays. But you can feel the significance of the place dumped in the ruins.
